My name is Richard Skipper, and I've been a State Farm agent since 1990, proudly serving Florence, Darlington, Marion, Georgetown, Horry counties, and all of South Carolina. I was born and raised in South Carolina and have deep roots all over the state. I earned my degree from the University of South Carolina in 1986 with a degree in Business. I know the importance of commitment, consistency and showing up for people, especially when they need you the most. These are core principles for myself and my team.

Our office is located at 1381 celebration Blvd in Florence, SC. Over the years I have qualified as a Crystal Excellence Award recipient, Bronze Tablet recipient, Honor Agent, and a 28 year ambassador for life qualifier, these milestones reflect the commitment and long-term dedication I have to our customers. I've served 17 years as a member of the Boys and Girls Club, serving 2 years as board chairman. Our office supports many local charities and non-profits in our area such as: House of Hope, Lighthouse Ministries, Tenacious Grace, One Child at a Time, Cooks for Christ, Delmae Baseball along with others.
